Singhasan Battisi is a Hindi fantasy-adventure television series based on the famous Indian folklore collection Singhasan Battisi, which tells the legendary tales of Emperor Vikramaditya and his magical throne.
The story begins when King Bhoj discovers Vikramaditya's magnificent throne, supported by thirty-two celestial statues. Each statue narrates a story highlighting Vikramaditya's wisdom, courage, justice, sacrifice, and extraordinary leadership, challenging Bhoj to prove whether he is worthy of occupying the sacred throne.
Produced by Creative Eye Limited and aired on Sony Pal, the series starred Karan Suchak as Vikramaditya and Siddharth Arora as Raja Bhoj. The show combined mythology, fantasy, and moral storytelling while presenting visually rich recreations of ancient Indian legends. Its engaging narrative and larger-than-life characters made it one of Sony Pal's notable mythological productions, later leading to the spin-off series Betaal Aur Singhasan Battisi.
